Enjoy an evening with Oliver Ford Davies as he delivers a masterclass in acting Shakespeare.

Davies is one of the UK’s leading actors, and also a distinguished writer on Shakespeare.

This masterclass will be based around his 2017 book, Shakespeare’s Fathers and Daughters, and will include performances of sequences from Shakespeare’s most popular plays.

Davies will perform and also direct six actors through some of the Bard’s most famous father-daughter scenes.

Plays will include Two Gentlemen of Verona, Romeo and Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It, Hamlet, Othello, Troilus and Cressida, King Lear and The Tempest.

Davies has performed in numerous Shakespeare plays during his professional career, including as Polonius in Hamlet with the Royal Shakespeare Company, alongside David Tennant and Patrick Stewart, and in 2009 appeared in All's Well That Ends Well at the Royal National Theatre.
