This concert features two legends of the British jazz scene.
Gareth Williams is one of the most intensely creative, dynamic and exciting performers.
He has been receiving increasing critical and public acclaim since the 90s: winner of the piano category in the 2013 British Jazz Awards.
“Williams is a hugely gifted pianist, with an apparently endless fund of ideas” (Dave Gelly, The Observer).
“A prodigiously talented pianist... a joyous, uncompromising celebration of sophistication, musicality, muscularity...” (Mojo Magazine).
Dave Green was born in 1942 and has a phenomenal CV, having worked with most of the great jazz musicians of the past 60 years, starting with Stan Tracey and Humphrey Lyttelton etc.
Dave has been the recipient of numerous British Jazz Awards since 1987.
In September 2014 he was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by The Worshipful Company of Musicians
