Litten Nature Reserve -- Open Day

  When: Saturday 23 June: 2-5pm
  Cost: Free
  Email: Litten Reserve

The Litten Nature Reserve is a hectare in size and is a little gem hidden away in Greenford, West London.

It has three ponds, two natural which tend to fill in the winter & dry out in the summer, the third is used for pond dipping.

The main tree is the English Penducular Oak. A line of Oaks (from a former hedgerow) are of particular wildlife value as they are hundreds of years old.

Paths are laid out in the reserve where a "Mini Beast Area" and "Story Circle" plus various trees and plants can be seen and enjoyed.

There is a classroom on site for local schools and the community to meet.

Volunteers welcome to help with conservation
