Talk: How We'll Live on Mars
The date for the first human landing on Mars keeps on getting farther into the future.

In the 70s, we thought we’d be on Mars by 2000.

In 2000 the target date for launch was 2017.

But now the US is talking about 2035, or maybe 2037.

All this makes the matter of getting to and living on Mars much more immediate.

Dr Colin Stuart, who spoke to us in April 2017, has been writing a book about this very subject, and will be giving us the latest news.

His presentation includes dramatic animations of the missions and a consideration of the various factors, including the psychological ones, that will face potential Martians
